Christian Life Communities

Discerning for mission...

"When you have something like this, you instantly put things back into perspective and you know you are a part of something that is special."                                                                                                                            " As we gathered each week to share, the discussions we had allowed me to realize that I am not alone in my faith journey...I have established a sense of trust, support and love among the other members of my CLC group."                                                                                                                            "CLC is my weekly vacation from the busy noise of life where I can reflect, talk with friends, and pray."

The Christian Life Community (CLC):

  • is a way of life that invites us to encounter God in all the various aspects of our everyday life

  • provides an opportunity to reflect on these experiences, enabling us to become more aware of God's activity in these experiences

  • enables us to respond in ever more authentic ways to God's desire within our individual and communal lives

  • are student-led groups of 6-10 fellow students who commit to a weekly meeting

CLC is built on 3 Pillars

1.  Spirituality

2.  Community

3. Mission

CLC participants embrace a willingness to grow in knowledge and love of God and Jesus though prayer and reflections on one's life.

Students who engage in CLC are intent on becoming "friends in the Lord", expressing a trust and openness to one another, an ability to keep confidence and a commitment and willingness to grow.

CLC participants become knowledgeable in the root causes of injustice and participate in various service projects together.

 Groups form each Fall semester.
